Another Saturday morning trip with friend and photographer Jan and again in unfavorable weather conditions. We parked at the beach of Hargen at the North Sea and walked over the historic Slaperdijk. This area has several landscape types in it: seascapes, dunes and polder. It started fairly well but after an hour walk it started to snow and visibility reduced significantly. Sticky snow in which we didn’t want to expose our delicate equipment. We decided to concentrate on the polder, hoping for a nice “blue hour” and sunrise. Neither of the two was spectacular but we managed to shoot some decent pictures until the snow blizzard started. We continued our walk towards Petten and returned to our car along the sea barrier. Again, a nice walk but not with the photo opportunities we hoped for.
